I'm old! Mind your own business!

Years ago the City and County Journal newspapers in St. Louis started a feature called "Town Talk". Basically the idea was that instead of making people have to write a letter to get their thoughts published in the paper, they would just let readers call a phone number, leave a message on a machine, and the paper would publish whatever they had to say. Sounds good enough until you consider the actual demographic that reads the City and County Journals consists of nothing but septagenarian cranks and assorted bored, lonely wackos. That is except for me, and I only read it for the septagenarian cranks and assorted bored, lonely wackos in "Town Talk".

So in tribute to these fine citizens I offer a new feature:

TOWN TALK POSTS OF THE WEEK

THIS IS A comment regarding the prostitutes on Broadway and Courtois. The South Broadway Merchants Association says not to worry about prostitutes, its just police officers being dropped out of the van. That's very nice of you to call and let a person know that they're police officers, but also you dummy you blew their cover. So now they have to get a new car. It's nice of you to let a person know what's going on. You didn't have to blow the officers cover. People like you should really keep their mouth shut and let police do their work. Mind you own business. Maybe stop reading the paper. How about that?

I JUST READ "What did it sell for." You don't have anything in there about St. Louis. What happened? We don't care what happened out of St. Louis.

THIS IS TO the person that wondered if they have to go out of the city limits just because they wanted to smoke a cigarette at Sonic. You don't even get the point of the whole picture do you?

I WOULD SOONER vote for Daffy Duck than George Bush. But that's being redundant, isn't it.

THERE'S CONSTRUCTION ON Old Sugar Creek Road. New Sugar Creek Road is completely shut down. I know I'm going to be late for work now.

WHAT THE HECK is that smelling substance that was sprayed on the bridge on 141 over 55 in Arnold? Why was that put there? It's just smelling and it's really gross.
