I'm a Pepper, you're not a Pepper"

One of my favorite soft drinks is Dr. Pepper and I usually ask for it by name. There are to distinct selling points to Dr. Pepper: One, my wife hates it so she dosn't doesn't ask me for a drink and two, apparently Spiderman drinks it.

My father seems to be an aficionado of cheap-ass Dr. Pepper knock-offs that he claims are just as good. I remember buying something called Dr. Diablo from the National supermarket on "The Hill" in St. Louis and really getting a kick out of the name. Ever since then I've become a sort of collector of fake Dr. Pepper names. Of course, someone on the internet has come up with a master list of Dr. Pepper clones. Among my favorites are: Dr. Whatever, Dr. Gulpster & Mr. Pigg, which is technically a knock off of the inferior Mr. Pibb, I guess. I also like Dr. Dynamite which upon further examination is actually called "Aunt Mabel's Dr. Dynamite" Ahh to be the lucky man Aunt Mabel has designated as her own personal "Dr. Dynamite"!

Not only is the list a great resource for travelling Dr. Pepper fans but it seems like it would be a good reference if you ever need to come up with a good alias. I imagine myself checking into a motel in the middle of the night with a fake snidley whiplash moustashe and signing the register as Dr. Zing. There's also some good rap names in there like Dr. Flavor.
