Town Talk Posts of the Week (Bonus Edition)

TO THE NEWLYWEDS who just moved in next door: I know you now have a license for what you're doing, but please keep it down or close your windows at night. It's hard making up excuses for all the noises to our kids.

HERE'S A SIMPLE solution for the abortion problem. Single people stop having sex. Let's return to morality in the United States.

CONCERNING STUNT BICYCLISTS:
last year on Highway 55 we were driving downtown and the stunt cyclists came flying around us, about 15 of them, cutting everybody off, jumping up on their bikes, jumping the bikes in front of the cars. We almost got killed. I called 911 and told them they were on the highway, with approximately 15 of them doing this. They could have cared less. Nobody showed up. These guys went on down the highway like that and it was never on the news.

THE MEDIA IS making such a big deal of Laura Bush being the president's secret weapon? Is he running for president or is she? Put the blinders up.

IN RESPONSE TO "Cold shoulder" in Town Talk: They state that air-conditioning is so cold that they freeze and it's because there are so many fat people around. Sometimes people need the
air-conditioning on because they are ill. They have problems breathing. Some people have heart problems so they can't stand the heat. I don't think the lady or man who called in should be so discriminatory against people that are heavy. I think they should have more consideration for their fellow man.

THIS IS IN regards to our postal employees that deliver mail on the street: I'd like to know what happened to the dress code. Don't they wear uniforms any more? Some of them look like they just came off skid row and I think it's a disgrace.
