HOW ARE WE supposed to keep revenue in Arnold when you go to a grocery store on a Sunday afternoon and they are out of T-bone and porterhouse steaks? Then you go to another grocery store and they are out of the same. Then you just give up and go to a resturant and they are out of roast beef. Only in Arnold.
WHOEVER CALLED IN about the men who grab their crouch, every time I see them doing that I wonder what kind of social disease they have. So don't let your daughters around them.
YEAH, I'M THE old guy that walks around the park with my cutoff jeans and no shirt on. It's hot out. I don't feel like I'm bothering anybody. What business is it of yours if I'm not bothering anybody? I just like to take a walk and feel more comfortable with no clothes. That's all I've got to say.
JUST THE OTHER day I was in a Schnuck's supermarket and there were four or five Affton firemen shopping and I jokingly said, "Well, what are we cooking today?" and the captain said, "Oh, we're not cooking tonight. We're going out for supper." Going out for supper? Aren't they on duty? Come on. What are we paying these guys for?
IF WE CAN have synthetic oil, why not synthetic gas?
TO THE PERSON that is handicapped, should you be driving? I'm concerned for our safety, should you maybe get checked every two years then?
TO THE CALLER that likes to scratch his crouch in public and expects the civilized world to turn their heads: I say you have no class. And you failed Public Etiquette 101 miserably. We have a name for your kind: hoosiers.
CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN why and how come the Muny, the Fox and all the concert venues advertise their shows and their programs as if the performers were alive? Many of them are deceased, such as Perry Como and many others. Yet they continue to play these tapes as if they were right here in the room with you. This goes for all the top stars. They ought to know better. How do they get by with it?
WAS I THE only one that got a busted windshield from that tar and gravel job they did on Highway 21? I wouldn't think so.
