REBOOT!

I guess I try to re-start the Blog thing. I made a failed attempt to start one a few years ago, as you can see from the previous posts, but I don’t think I ever had a clear idea on what to write about. But now, I think I’m a little more inspired by a few recent happenings in my life, so I’ll take another whack at it.

One of the big happenings is that about 10 weeks ago I became a father, so I figured I would have some thoughts to put down about that. I also started to get serious about this bike riding thing this past summer, and I plan to take it to the next level this spring. I thought a sort of journal about my pursuits in this area might be helpful to me.

Besides all that, I can always write about my usual interest of music, movies, beer and barbecue. I also kind of liked the “Town Talk” feature that I was putting up on old blog so I’ll try to continue that. ...and maybe I’ll finally get around organizing all my memories of my great western trip from 10 or so years ago and posting those.

So this is officially the “Blog Reboot”. I thought about starting a new blog, but I had trouble coming up with a new name that wasn’t already taken, and I kind of liked the old one anyway. So I’ll leave the older posts up and they’ll eventually get buried in the archive. Besides, there’s some fun stuff in some of those old posts!
